The following list identifies drayage trucking companies and owners/contractors of drayage trucks that meet standards of the Port of Tacoma's
Clean Truck Program. The list also highlights firms that are partners in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's
SmartWay program.
Tacoma's Clean Truck Program is based on the collaborative Northwest Ports Clean Air Strategy, which set short-term and long-term goals to reduce port-related diesel emissions. For trucks, that means:
- By 2010: Equivalent diesel emissions level of 1994 or newer heavy-duty truck engine model year
- By 2015: Equivalent diesel emissions level of 2007 or newer engine model year
This Best Management Practices (BMP) list is one component of the Port of Tacoma's Clean Truck Program. The list is updated periodically.
